Banbury & District Numismatic Society
Founded at a meeting held at the Unicorn Inn, Market Place, Banbury in 1967

Catchment area: - Oxfordshire, South Northamptonshire & South Warwickshire

In the early days with a large membership the interests were wide, but our membership at the present time (seven with two or three floaters) concentrate on Ancient, British, Foreign, Gunmoney, Tokens & Oddities.

Our in-house meetings generally take the form of a relaxed, laid back discussion and we do not get too upset if members go off the main subject at a slight tangent (we have had some quite informative, entertaining & amusing evenings)

Officers at present:
Chairperson Mr A. Hawkins
Secretary: Mr R. Bayford
Treasurer: Mr W. Slack

All meetings, except lunches & inter society quiz, are now held at
St Johns Community Centre, Dashwood Road, Banbury on the second Monday of every month (except July and August), and commence at 8 p.m.

Subscriptions £5 per annum, junior members 50p.

Contact address:
R Bayford, 307 Bretch Hill, Banbury, Oxon OX16 0JD.
